Maury Regional Health opens new retail pharmacy location
C OLUMBIA, Tenn. - On March 27, Maury Regional Health celebrated the grand opening of its new retail pharmacy location now open and serving patients at the Maury Regional Medical Plaza in Columbia.

Writing with Purpose
D ana Cook lives in Lewisburg with her husband, Eliot Cook and stepchildren, Eli and Stella. She dedicated 20 years to teaching elementary school in the community before transitioning into her current role as a developmental evaluator at Tennessee Tech University. For her, writing has never been just a hobby, it has been a lifelong passion. From an early age, she found joy in journaling, writing poems, and creating short stories simply for the love of writing. Over the years, that passion has grown into something much bigger, evolving into a collection of published works that aim to inspire, comfort, and encourage readers of all ages.

Candidate Statement: Tony Nichols for Marshall County Sheriff
N ichols’ law enforcement career began in 1998 as a reserve deputy with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office. In 2001, he earned his certification as a police officer and continued to serve Lincoln County before joining the Petersburg Police Department, where he held the position of Chief of Police for three years. In 2007, Nichols started working for the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office, and since then, he has have been fully committed to serving Marshall County.

Warner Farms Lake Permit Approved
T he Warner Farms Lake limestone processing facility, previously addressed in a public hearing held by the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) on Jan. 15, has had its National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit approved by the state.

TCAT Pulaski Awarded READI Grant
T he Tennessee College of Applied Technology Pulaski (TCAT Pulaski) was awarded $128,000 through the Perkins V Rural Education and Development Innovation (READI) Grant. The grant will support the continued development and expansion of its new Digital Agronomy Program (DAG). During the grant cycle, individual awards of up to $250,000 were made statewide to support high-cost equipment purchases that modernize and innovate Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) career and technical education programs. These competitive grants prioritize experiential learning opportunities that prepare students for success in Tennessee’s workforce.
