Mary Ate a Little Lamb for Easter
M ary had a little lamb that grew until it weighed about a hundred pounds and Mary’s Mom was looking for something special for the Easter holiday family feast. Mary, being a wise and practical farm girl, knew that her lamb, like every animal on the farm, had a job, and that job is to be delicious.

Burglary Reported O n March 7, Officer Evans received information that the manager of Northgate Arms Apartments wanted to report a burglary. Officer Evans made contact with the manager who pointed out a black male whom he had watched while attempting to break into the administrative building using force. When the male saw Officer Evans pull into the parking lot, he stopped and began to walk away. As Officer Evans began walking towards the male, the male ran into the woods behind the apartment complex.

Marshall County Grand Jury indicts King
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation initiated an investigation into allegations involving a Williamson County Sheriff’s Deputy Cody Hawken King. King was booked into the Marshall County Jail on March 26, 2026, on a $10,000 bond and has been released. The Marshall County Grand Jury indicted King on one count of stalking and six counts of observation without consent. The charges are related to his ex-wife. King is a resident of Chapel Hill and an Alderman for the Town of Chapel Hill.

C OLUMBIA, Tenn. - On March 27, Maury Regional Health celebrated the grand opening of its new retail pharmacy location now open and serving patients at the Maury Regional Medical Plaza in Columbia.

D ana Cook lives in Lewisburg with her husband, Eliot Cook and stepchildren, Eli and Stella. She dedicated 20 years to teaching elementary school in the community before transitioning into her current role as a developmental evaluator at Tennessee Tech University. For her, writing has never been just a hobby, it has been a lifelong passion. From an early age, she found joy in journaling, writing poems, and creating short stories simply for the love of writing. Over the years, that passion has grown into something much bigger, evolving into a collection of published works that aim to inspire, comfort, and encourage readers of all ages.
