Pool Tournament Winners

A pool Tournament was held at Marshall County Senior Citizens on May 29, 2026. Cash prizes and lunch were sponsored by Lyons Ford dealership. Seniors from surrounding counties were invited. The winners are Charles Scales, first prize; Kent Woods, second prize; Joe Sharpe, third prize; and Kevin Edmonds, fourth prize. If you are 55 years old or older and interested in participating in future pool tournaments, call the Senior Center at 359-1808 for more information.

Easton Robertson to Take Part in Envision’s National Youth Leadership Forum Pathways to STEM

This summer, Easton Robertson, son of Jacob and LaShae Robertson, originally from Chapel Hill, Tenn. but currently resides in Fayetteville, Tenn., will join outstanding students from across the nation to take part in a unique academic and career-oriented development experience, National Youth Leadership Forum Pathways to STEM in Nashville at Vanderbilt University.
