Betty Jane Osteen Hallum

Mrs. Betty Jane Osteen Hallum, 87, of the Caney Spring community of Marshall County, died Tuesday evening, December 3, 2024 in Lewisburg, Tenn.

Mrs. Hallum was born in the Caney Spring community and was a daughter of the late Pauline Walker Osteen and Willie Homer Osteen, Sr. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Robert Eugene Hallum, who died in 2009; brothers, W.H. Osteen, Jr., Don Osteen, Ralph Osteen, Bobby Osteen and grandson, William “Bill” Hallum. She was a member of the Church of Christ and was a retired real estate agent with Remax Realty of Atlanta, Ga.

Mrs. Hallum is survived by her children, Cheryl (Dan) Hart, Caney Spring comm., Mike (Cynthia) Hallum, Shelbyville, Tenn., Kim (Daniel) Rascoe, Woodstock, Ga.; grandchildren, Danielle Barnes, Charles Hallum, Robert Hallum, Kate Wilby, Olivia Wall, Sarah Hallum; great-grandchildren, Bella Barnes, Henry Hallum, Mary Lynn Hallum, Shelby Barnes, Jack Wall, Pierce Hallum, Dorothy Hallum, and Scarlett Hallum.

Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. at Allen Cemetery in the Caney Spring community of Marshall County.  Burial will immediately follow services.
