Wilbur Jane Wiley, 81, of Lewisburg, Tenn., died on July 5, 2024, at Marshall Medical Center. She was born on February 14, 1943, in Williamsport, Tenn. She was the daughter of the late Dora Moore and Bobby Sylvester Hight.
After high school, she attended Columbia Business College and had several jobs in Nashville and Columbia. Some jobs included the telephone company in Nashville and the Co-Op and Holiday Inn in Columbia. In 1968, she met and married the love of her life, Bobby Neil Wiley. They remained married until he died in 2014. They were married for 45 years. After moving to Lewisburg, she worked at Teledyne and then Cosmolab.
She was an avid reader and loved going to yard sales with her best friend, Linda. She was a dedicated and loving mother, wife, friend, and a member of the First United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Michael Brian Wiley.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Beth (Jimmy) Williams; one grandson, J.T. Williams; sisters, Sue Bridges of Columbia and Gail (Clifford) Whitaker of Lewisburg; brother, Robert Hight of Williamsport.
Visitation was held at London Funeral Home, 324 W. Church Street, Lewisburg, Tenn., Monday, July 8, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the funeral service followed at 1 p.m. London Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with the arrangements.
