Ms. Terri Orr visited Mrs. Mary Brewer’s Teaching as a Profession class at MCHS to discuss career aptitude and budgeting for young adults as they enter the workforce. Volunteers Linda Prince, Deborah Foster, Emily Darnell, Alicia Nave, David Delk, Rob Wiles, Jared McCullough, and Kaylee Layton assisted with the program and represented First Commerce Bank, CB&S Bank, Marshall County Retired Teachers, Marshall County Government, and Marshall County Extension Service. Students worked through a budgeting simulation of one month’s paycheck they earned from the career that they chose. Students visited ten stations and make choices that are best for their family situation and current financial situation.
