A Marshall County man died from a single vehicle accident on Monday, January 15, 2024. The accident occurred on Spring Place Road approximately four miles from South Ellington Parkway. Investigators stated the victim was stuck in the snow, then his vehicle flipped into deep water which entered the cab. He was not able to exit the vehicle.
Terry Wolaver, a realtor with Homestead Realty & Auction, was the only occupant in the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Funeral arrangements were made with Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home and Mr. Wolaver’s obit can be found on the Obit Page.
On Wednesday, January 17, 2024, a man was found inside a mobile home on Nashville Highway. James Vincion, 26, was found inside the home which had ice covering the walls. A space heater was found but it was turned over. Hypothermia is suspected to be a probable cause of death. See the Obit Page for Mr. Vincion’s death notice.
