Third time’s the charm: Red Hot Chili Peppers headline ‘Roo

Can’t stop the festival shindig as Bonnaroo officials have announced that Red Hot Chili Peppers, Post Malone and Fred Again.. will be headlining this year’s Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival.

The lineup was given away Tuesday morning, Jan. 9, with major acts including Pretty Lights, T-Pain, Megan Thee Stallion, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Carly Rae Jepsen, Gary Clark Jr., The Mars Volta, Cage the Elephant, Jon Batiste and many others who will be performing at The Farm this year.

Described as the “most positive place on this planet,” the 2024 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival is set to take place from Thurs, June 13, to Sun, June 16, at Great Stage Park in Manchester.

This year’s music festival will see Pretty Lights headlining the main stage and Fisher to kick off the festival Thursday, June 13. In addition, Pretty Lights will also have a sunrise set at The Other Stage during the festival. This will be Pretty Lights’ third time performing at the music and arts festival. Pretty Lights also had a three-day residency at The Caverns back in November. Other acts performing Thursday will include GWAR, Geese, It’s Murph, Matt Maltese, Say She She and more.

Friday will see Maggie Rogers, Interpol, Khruangbin, Seven Lions, T-Pain, Gary Clark Jr., The Mars Volta, Thundercat, including among many others, followed by the night’s headliner Post Malone, who will be making his third appearance at Bonnaroo, where he performed at the festival in 2016 and 2019.

Saturday’s acts will include Cage the Elephant, Melanie Martinez, Diplo, Jon Batiste, Parcels, The Teskey Brothers, BadBadNotGood and Knock2, as well as Saturday evening’s headliner Red Hot Chili Peppers. This will the third time Red Hot Chili Peppers have performed at Bonnaroo, with their previous appearances have been in 2012 and 2017. While this will be the band’s third time at The Farm, it will be the first time the band has performed at the festival with longtime guitarist John Frusciante, who rejoined the band in 2019.

Wrapping up Bonnaroo are Megan Thee Stallion, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Two Friends, Carly Rae Jepsen, Goth Babe, Galantis, Taking Back Sunday and more, with Fred again.. closing down The Farm. According to Bonnaroo officials, Sunday night’s headline set will mark the only U.S. festival performance by Fred again.. in 2024.

Also announced for Bonnaroo will be the festival’s world-famous SuperJam. Set for Sat, June 15 in That Tent, 2024’s all-star collaboration will be “Once More With Feeling(s) – The Dashboard Confessional Emo SuperJam,” with performances from special guests, both announced and unannounced, who will be “guaranteeing this year’s session as a must-see celebration of community, showmanship, and unmatched musical adventure.” Additional lineup announcements – including plans for the magical “Where In The Woods” stage as well as Late Night showcase performances – will be unveiled at a later date.

The presale begins Thurs, Jan. 11 at 10 a.m. CT, and fans can sign up now for a presale passcode exclusively via www.bonnaroo.com/tickets. A public on-sale will follow if tickets remain. Ticket options include four-day General Admission, four-day GA+, four-day VIP, four-day Platinum, along with a variety of camping and parking options starting at just $25 down with a payment plan.

A wide range of camping and parking options will be available in Outeroo, the campgrounds at Bonnaroo, which will include Primitive Car Camping, Glamping, RVs, Backstage Camping, Accessible Camping, Groop Camping, Community Camping, and more. Premium Outeroo Camping Accommodations include pre-pitched Souvenir Tents, cool and comfortable Darkroom Tents, weatherproof Luxury Bell Tents and spacious two-person Wood Frame Safari Tents. Four-day on-site parking will be available for ticketholders not camping, with car parking passes granting one parking spot in the Cosmic Nomads Day Parking Lot.
