Tankersley signs with Austin Peay

Despite an injury that kept him off the field during his senior season, offensive lineman Spence Tankersley signed his letter of intent to continue his football career with the Austin Peay State University Governors.
Tankersley began playing football at the age of four with Chapel Hill’s youth league. Thirteen years later the work has paid off, the recruiting staff from Austin Peay paying a visit to Chapel Hill to see the six-foot-five lineman in action, following up with the offer.
As a December graduate, Tankersley will get a head start, heading to Clarksville this month to start working with the team.
He plans to major in Business.
