Sharon Gail Hedrick Hulshof, 69, a resident of Lewisburg, died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2025, at her residence.
Sharon was born on Jan. 26, 1956, in Maury County, Tenn. to the late Bobby Frank Hedrick, Sr. and the late Linda Jeanette Cozart Workman. She retired from Goodman’s in Fayetteville and worked for Inter-City Products for several years. One of Sharon’s favorite things to do was to aggravate her son Robert. She loved her pet dogs, Bud (late) and Gemma, cross stitching, collecting antiques and was proud of her home. She also loved traveling, going on bus trips all over the United States and two recent trips to London, Paris and Belgium. Sharon, along with her late husband Henry, enjoyed riding motorcycles through the countryside and she loved music, especially her favorite band Aerosmith. She was a long time member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Lewisburg.
Survivors include her son, Robert Brooks of Lewisburg; step-son, Kevin Hulshof of Lewisburg; brother, Bobby Frank “Bubba” Hedrick of Pulaski; two sisters, Candy (Terry) Stewart of Columbia and Mona Hedrick of Mt. Pleasant; four nieces, Kelley (Jackson) Mashburn, Kelsey Stewart, Morgan Walters (fiancé Aron Decherf), and Marissa (Jesse) Owens; great-nephews, Weston Mashburn and Kohen Patterson; and her beloved dog, Gemma.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her niece, Brooke McFarland Walters and her step-father, Jimmy “Bonedaddy” Workman.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Feb. 8, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Burial took place at Lone Oak Cemetery in Lewisburg. The family visited with friends Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Online condolences may be extended at www.oakesandnichols.com.
Pallbearers were Johnny Beatty, John Welp, Thomas Wilson, Terry Stewart, Danny Stacy, Bobby Hedrick, and Jackson Mashburn. Honorary pallbearers were Edith Ells, Angie Rogers, Aron Decherf and Linda Kaye Hedrick.
