Lewisburg Mayor Jim Bingham signed a Proclamation in Recognition of Lewisburg Rotary Club on Friday, February 23, 2024, World Rotary Day. Jared McCullough, President of Lewisburg Rotary Club, visited City Hall to receive the proclamation.
Rotary International was founded on Feb. 23, 1905, in Chicago. Their motto is “Service Above Self.” There are more than a million Rotary club members throughout 200 countries and geographic areas. In 1985, Rotary launched PolioPlus and worked with the WHO, the CDC, and UNICEF to immunize children against polio. To date, they have contributed more than $1 billion to the protection of more than two billion children against polio.
