Mrs. Ruth Fuller Bullock, 93, of the Holt’s Corner community, died Wednesday, June 26, 2024, in Columbia, Tenn. She was born in Marshall County, Tenn., and was a daughter of the late Harold Fuller and Ocia Lee Barnes Fuller. She was a homemaker and a member of Holt’s Corner Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Edward “Nick” Bullock in 2017; daughter, Kathy Haynes; grandchild, Katie Bullock; sisters, Christine Cothran, Jo Manier, Nancy Fuller, Linda Fuller; and brothers, Tom Fuller, Gordon Fuller and Buster Fuller.
Mrs. Ruth absolutely loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She had a passion for growing flowers. She truly enjoyed history and working on genealogy and loved her community, Holt’s Corner and had many precious memories there!
Mrs. Bullock is survived by her loving children, John H. (Carolyn) Bullock of Castalian Springs, Tenn., Jerry W. (Karen) Bullock of Jacksonville, Fla., Kenny (Debbie) Bullock of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Jan (Duane) Floyd of Chapel Hill, Tenn., Laurie (Troy) Crowell of Cornersville, Tenn.; son-in-law, Jeff Haynes of Chapel Hill, Tenn.; 19 grandchildren, Kelly Thomas, Robyn Paglio, Meri Haynes-Savage, Joy Hall, Jeremy Haynes, Missy Bullock, Tess Grider, Josh Floyd, Jessica Fuhs, Jacob Floyd, Brittney Klaren, Jamie Crowell, Jordan Crowell, Denise Cheek, Stacie Harris, Dawn Molloy, Brandy Moore, Sean Cheek, Bridgette Cheek; 28 great-grandchildren; brothers, Allen (Mary Fuller) of Murfreesboro, Tenn. and Dan (Betty Ruth) Fuller of Triune, Tenn.
Visitation with the family was held Monday, July 1, 2024, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service was conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, July 1, 2024, in the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Chatman officiating. Interment followed at in the Holt’s Corner community.
