Rockets dominant in district sweep

Simply put, the Forrest Rockets were dominant in a two-game district sweep against Grundy County, beating the Yellow Jackets 10-0 in Game 1 and closing out the series with a 16-0 win in Game 2.

Forrest got off to a hot start and backed starting pitcher Tyler Baxter with a five-spot in the first inning en route to a 10-0 run rule limit win.
Baxter was efficient, giving up just three hits and striking out seven.
He helped his own cause going 3-for-4 at the plate with a double, while Kason Fuller also doubled.
Forrest padded its lead with a sixth run in the second inning and then scored one in the fourth, two in the fifth and closed the game with a walk-off RBI single by Reid Gentry to reach the 10-run rule limit.

Three different Rockets recorded at least three hits in Game 2 of the series as Forrest dominated the Yellow Jackets in every facet.
Branham Haynes went 1-for-3 and drove in four runs, while Tyler Baxter and Kason Fuller each went 3-for-4.
Designated hitter Braiden Bourne went 4-for-4 and also knocked in four runs.
Luke Allen was in total control on the mound and went the distance to claim the win, giving up just five hits and striking out two.
