The Marshall County Chapter of Tennessee Retired Teachers Association held their first meeting of the school year on Sept. 7. MCRTA president LaDelle Smith and First National Bank President Larry Lance welcomed guests. As is custom, members contribute to a charity or organization at each meeting. The Imagination Library will receive over $750.00 from the group to use in Marshall County. The next MCRTA meeting will be Dec. 7 at Church Street Church of Christ Annex Building.
