Attention: Town of Chapel Hill Water Department Customers and Water Users

Oct. 24, 2023

The US Drought Monitor now indicates most of southern middle Tennessee region is in a severe drought.  The Town of Chapel Hill is feeling the impact of these conditions and is asking each customer and user of our water source to please conserve water.  This necessary conservation measure is effective immediately and is in effect until further notice or change of status in conditions.  We are asking that all non-essential usage of water be limited or stopped at this time to conserve water.  Non-essential water usage includes activities such as lawn, garden and landscape watering, complete/partial pool refills, athletic field watering, washing of vehicles, and certain household chores such as pressure washing of houses and walkways.

If you suspect a waterline leak, please report it immediately to Town Hall at 931-364-7632.

Again, we ask for your cooperation in implementing this necessary step in managing our water supply.

Thank you for making Chapel Hill your hometown!
