The 2024 Presidential Preference Primary results are in. There were 2,108 voters on Election Day, March 5. The hours were different this year and polls opened a bit later at 9:00 a.m. instead of 7:00 a.m. They remained open until 7:00 p.m. There were 932 early votes in person and 99 paper absentee votes.
The public count was 3,139. There were 2,795 Republican votes cast and 337 Democratic votes cast. Marshall County’s voter turnout was 14.41% of the 21,778 registered voters.
Republican votes were as follows: Ryan Binkley- 3, Chris Christie- 12, Ron DeSantis 32, Nikki Haley- 323, Asa Hutchinson- 1, Vivek Ramaswamy- 6, David Stuckenberg-1, Donald Trump- 2,399, Uncommitted- 17, and Write-In- 1.
Democratic votes were as follows: Joe Biden- 324, Uncommitted- 9, and Write-In- 4.
