Pauline Wright
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pauline Wright, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, who left us peacefully on February 17, 2025, at the age of 86. She was born on January 25, 1939, in Franklin, Tennessee, to Alonzo and Maggie Ambrose Stevens.
Pauline was a woman of deep faith and conviction. A member of Westvue Church of Christ, she loved God and lived her life in a way that exemplified her beliefs.
Pauline will be remembered for her unwavering passion for working outside in her garden, surrounded by the colorful blooms of flowers and the bountiful produce of her garden. She would take her harvest and preserve the food by canning it or she would cook it for the ones she loved. She had a joyful spirit and often spent her weekends exploring local auctions, searching for treasures and unique finds that she would then share with those dear to her heart. Pauline dedicated many years of her life to nurturing and supporting those in need by being a caregiver. Her compassionate spirit and unwavering commitment to others created lasting bonds and brought comfort to countless families.
Pauline is survived by her son, Wayne Wright (Angie); daughter, Margaret Wright; grandchildren, Jason Wright and Courtney Johnson; and five great-grandchildren.
Pauline is preceded in death by her parents; one brother; several sisters; and a grandson, Anthony Wright.
Funeral services for Pauline Wright was held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, February 21, 2025, at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home with Brother Rick Rolin officiating. Visitation was also at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. BurialĀ followed at Williamson Memorial Gardens. Friends and family were invited to gather to celebrate her life, sharing stories and memories that reflect the love and joy she spread during her time with us.
