Marshall County Board of Public Utilities (MCBPU) customers may have received an email or text messages recently stating their monthly bill has been posted to their account, and that you could go into the portal and pay the bill by Dec. 20. Some customers grew concerned that it may have been a scam. The MCBPU wants everyone to know, this is not a scam. It is the new notification that comes along with their new software. With the upgrade of their computer system, they also have a new look for bills that are mailed out to customers. Customers can now sign up for text message notifications as the bills become available online in the web portal. If you have any questions you may call their office at (931) 359-6905.
