* Volunteers are needed for the haunted hay ride for Oct. 28, Halloween in the Park-Cornersville. Contact Torrie via the Cornersville Events FB page to volunteer. Rehearsal will be Friday, Oct. 27 at 6:00 p.m. Dinner will be provided Saturday.
* Halloween in the Park will have the cake walk which is a huge part of this event. Drop off date for cakes, pies, cookies, is Saturday, Oct. 28, after 10:00 a.m. and before 4:00 p.m.

* Oct 17 – The Marshall County Emergency Communications District Board of Directors will have a special called meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 17 at 9:00 a.m. to discuss cost of construction of water and sewer lines. The meeting will be held at the Marshall County EOC office located at 230 College ST, Lewisburg, TN.
* Oct 17 – The Marshall County Board of Public Utilities will hold its regular monthly meeting Tuesday, Oct. 17, 9:00 a.m. at 624 West Commerce Street, in the Doug Rogers Board Room.
