The MCHS faculty, staff, and students are excited to celebrate Homecoming 2025 the week of September 29-October 3. The week promises to be filled with fun and will culminate Friday, October 3, with the annual parade, crowning of the Queen, and football game!
The theme for Homecoming 2025 is “To Victory and Beyond!” Students will be working on class banners and hall decorations the weekend before the week starts and there will be a Canned Food Drive all week. Below is the schedule for the week:
Monday: Camo day-Andy’s Army: Reporting for Spirit Duty! The Homecoming Queen and Court will be presented during Assembly time. Monday night will be movie night with the students getting to enjoy the movie Toy Story.
Tuesday: Duo/Group Day-You’ve Got a Friend in Me! There will be Volleyball competition during Assembly time and Powder Puff Football will begin at 6:00pm at Preston Hopkins Field.
Wednesday: Western Day-Round Up that Tiger Spirit!
Thursday; Decades Day-Still Andy’s Favorite! Various activities will be in the gym during Assembly time and Powder Puff Football will again be at 6:00pm at Preston Hopkins.
Friday: School Spirit Day-To Victory and Beyond! Students will participate in games in the gym, car decorating, food trucks, with the parade beginning at 12:30pm, and a Pep Rally on the square. The day will conclude with the Tigers playing Columbia Academy. Homecoming festivities begin at 6:30, and the game begins at 7:00. We hope the community will join us!
