Mayes Barry Woodward

Mayes Barry Woodward was born April 10, 1937, in Lewisburg, Tennessee, and passed away on February 27, 2025, in Marysville, Washington.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Clyde Mayes and Martha Clay Woodward and older sister, Maysene Woodward Henson.

He served a combined 20 years in the military. First in the Navy then retiring from the Air Force. He was also a Vietnam Veteran.

Barry is survived by his wife of 60 years Vera Ann Woodward; daughter, Heather Woodward Siron; son-in-law, Chad Siron; and his grandchildren Jacob and Lily Siron.

He is also survived by his younger brother, Randy Woodward and several nieces and nephews.

A big thank you to Shawn, Henry, and Dickson of Saron Adult Family Home of Marysville, Washington who cared for him his last three years of his life.

In lieu of a service, the family will privately scatter some of his ashes at the beach he loved. Interment will be at a later date at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington.
