Marshall County Prevention Coalition will host a town hall on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Greater First Baptist Church, 512 6th Ave N, in Lewisburg to engage the public in dialogue around issues that matter to youth, adults, and families in our county.
A panel of individuals working in public health, prevention, education and healthcare will be available to answer a variety of questions from the community. Community members are encouraged to come as we discuss how we can best support ourselves and each other and build a healthy and thriving community. Information specific to addiction, prevention and recovery, vaping and nicotine use, what naloxone is and how to administer it, and where to find resources will be covered. Community resource booths will also be on site and refreshments will be provided.
The Marshall County Prevention Coalition meets regularly. Individuals interested in joining the coalition should reach out to Liz Bensinger, 931-993-7264.
