Marshall County Democratic Party will host a monthly Coffee and Conversations with Dems at Greater First Baptist Church, 512 6th Avenue N in Lewisburg on August 10, 2-3pm. For our August event, we are displaying the power and positivity of Democratic unity and will be joined by Democratic Candidates running to represent Marshall County at the state and federal level.
We are thrilled to be joined by Teri Mai, Dem candidate for HD92; James Dallas, Dem candidate for SD28; Maryam Abolfazli, Dem candidate for CD5; and (tentatively) Gloria Johnson, Dem candidate for US Senate, all of whom are running on a strong Democratic agenda of adequate funding for education, addressing gun violence in our schools and communities through common sense gun laws, electoral reform and ending voter suppression in Tennessee, and accessible and affordable healthcare, particularly access to reproductive healthcare for all and a woman’s right to choose.
The Marshall County Democratic Party recognizes that many residents of our county don’t vote or are still undecided. We welcome all who want to meet the candidates to come and participate in this community event.
