Providing support for Marshall County, Tennessee residents affected by cancer through tax deductible gifts
The Marshall County Cancer Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) volunteer member based, non-profit organization dedicated to assisting Marshall County residents while they are undergoing treatment for cancer. Since being founded in January 2017, the foundation has provided over $129,000 in assistance to almost eighty applicants. We are funded by donations and fundraisers.
The mission of the Foundation is to assist Marshall County residents actively undergoing cancer treatments. This is accomplished by helping the applicant pay their rent/mortgage or/and utility payments. Sometimes the applicant may need a gift card that can be used for medication, groceries and/or gas to get them to their cancer treatment center.
Our largest fundraiser is “Casino Night.” This year the event will be on Saturday, April 6th, 6:00 pm at the TWHBEA, 250 N. Ellington Pkwy, Lewisburg. For $50, a ticket holder can enjoy a DJ, dancing, cash bar, food bar, non-cash value money to trade in for chips for gaming tables, door prizes, and silent auction items. Gaming tables consist of Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, and Texas Hold ‘Em. There will also be a reverse raffle and you do not have to be present to win. We are also looking for sponsors, as well as door prizes and silent auction items.
