Marcus Cox, Jr., formerly of Lewisburg, age 30, passed on Tuesday, August 29, 2023. He was the son of Pamela Greer and Marcus Cox, Sr. He was added to the body of Christ at Rocky Point Church of Christ in Belfast.
Marcus is preceded in death by his maternal great grandparents, Fred Greer, Sr. and Mildred Greer and paternal grandparents, Gloria Sowell and Joe Cox.
He was educated in the Marshall County and Maury County School Systems. Marcus was known to many by the name of Junior. He had various jobs during his short lifetime.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by three children: two sons Jabraelin Harlin Cox and Desmond Vaughn and one daughter Aliannah Chantel Cox; siblings include Robert Jujuan Greer, Mareisha Cox, Tremarcus Deshaun Cox, Marissa Cox and Zamoura Cox; maternal grandparents, Michael and Sarah Campbell; his uncles, Torey Alexander and Orlando (Deborah) Cox; devoted aunt, Chiquita Dickerson; great uncles, Charles Greer and Frankie Greer; three nephews; a special friend Cheleigh Hall; many other cousins and friends.
The Funeral Service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 3, 2023, at Ransom Chapel C.P. Church in Lewisburg, Tennessee.
J. B . Mayberry & Sons Funeral Home were in charge of the arrangements.
