LaDon Love recently won his first Emmy Award for his contribution to SportsCenter, where he is employed as an Editorial Graphics Producer at ESPN in Bristol, Conn. He has been with ESPN for nine years and previously was employed with Scripps Media and Turner Sports in Atlanta, Ga. His first professional job was working with Atlanta Olympic Broadcasting during the 1996 Summer Olympics as a Production Assistant. He covered Dream Team II, tennis, and archery during the 1996 Olympics.
Love lives in Windsor, Conn. with his wife, Robin, and two daughters, Rachel and Kayla. He graduated from MCHS in 1990 where he was All-District 9AA in football and game announcer for the MCHS Tiger basketball games.
Love graduated from Morris Brown College in Atlanta with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication in 1995. He also played football at Morris Brown College and was on the Dean’s List for three straight years with a GPA of 3.0 or above.
His mother, Faye Love, and sister, Kortney Love, reside in Lewisburg.
