Linda Loraine Adkins, 86, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, died Saturday, October 14, 2023, at her residence.
She was born March 14, 1937, in Culleoka, Tennessee, to the late Leland L. and Lillian Ferguson Williams. She was a retired Inspector for Marshall Manufacturing and was a member of the Baptist Church. She loved flower gardening, word search books, her dogs, her family, and watching crime shows.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Edward Walker Fitzgerald in 1970 and William Roy Adkins in 2020; one sister, Sandra Greenlee and two brothers, Norris Williams and Gary Williams.
She is survived by three daughters, Denise Hamilton, Sherry Tipper, and Kimberly (Michael) Turner, all of Lewisburg; two sisters, Nancy Ytzen of Memphis and Barbara Biddy of Columbia; eight grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and ten great-great-grandchildren with two on the way.
Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home, 324 West Church Street, Lewisburg, Tennessee 37091, and burial followed in Lone Oak Cemetery.
Visitation with the family was held at London Funeral Home on Monday, October 16, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and continued on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, until the funeral hour.
