Linda Gail Griffin, a beloved wife to Billy Griffin, passed away on September 2, 2024, in the comfort of her home in Lewisburg. Linda was born on February 2, 1951, in Marshall County, Tennessee, to Cecil and Myrtle Irene Dalton Fuller. Linda was a bright and spirited individual who left a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Known for her fiery personality and candid nature, Linda always spoke her mind and embraced life with gusto. She cherished her family deeply, finding immense joy in the presence of her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. With an unwavering love for dogs, Linda also enjoyed the simple pleasures of life – crafting, manicures, and beautifully done hair.
Linda’s passion for flowers and collection of thimble boxes reflected her artistic side, showcasing her love for beauty in all forms. A loyal fan of Loretta Lynn and the Golden Girls, Linda found solace and joy in these shared interests.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents; son, Billy Wade Griffin, Jr.; brothers, Palmer Fuller, Ralph Fuller and Randall Fuller; sisters, Helen Jett, Christine Fuller, Hazel Poarch and Frances Nivens; and great-grandson, Camden Harris. She is survived by her husband, Billy Wade Griffin; daughters, Tammy Walker (Kerry) and Stephanie Harris (Mitch); grandchildren, Kelby Walker, Kayla Wilson (George Adams), Myra Harris (Drew), Dakota Harris, Chris Harris, Patrick Harris and Steven Harris; great-grandchild, Lilly Harris; and brothers, Robert Fuller, Cecil “Junebug” Fuller and Randolph Fuller.
Visitation will be at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home from noon until 3:00 p.m. prior to the graveside service on Friday, September 6, 2024. Graveside service will be at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 6, 2024, at Beechwood Cemetery.
Her zest for life and warm spirit will be dearly missed by all those who knew her. Rest in peace, Linda Gail Griffin. You will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who loved you.
