Larry Wade Crumley, age 72, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, passed away Monday, December 15, 2025, at NHC Lewisburg.
Larry was born October 24, 1953, in Pulaski, Tennessee, to the late James and Bonnie Childers Crumley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James Dwight Crumley.
He is survived by four sisters, Rita Hartley of Lewisburg, Freda (James) Gilliam of Lewisburg, Judy Michael of Huntsville, Alabama, Kay (Roger) Smith of West Paris, Maine; one brother, Lester (Valerie) Staggs of Lewisburg; several nieces and nephews.
Larry proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. Serving in the military helped shape Larry’s outlook on life, instilling in him a sense of discipline, resilience, and patriotism. After discharge from the army, Larry worked in construction. Through hard work and perseverance, he built a successful career, contributing to projects that helped shape his community. Larry found joy in a simple and relaxing pastime – watching television. Over the last several years, this has been his favorite way to unwind and enjoy his free time.
His cremains will be buried at a graveside service at Lone Oak Cemetery at a later date.
