BRENTWOOD — After nearly a week’s worth of rain outs last week, the Forrest Lady Rockets certainly got their fill of games over the weekend, going 6-1 in the Raptor Classic, hosted by Ravenwood High School.

FORREST 4, WHITE HOUSE 3
It wasn’t the cleanest of games for Forrest, having committed three errors, but in the end, a sac-fly from Emory Hall was good enough for a 4-3 walk-off win against White House.
White House grabbed a 2-0 lead in the top of the fourth, only for Forrest to tie the game in the bottom of the fifth on a RBI double from Christa Warren.
The momentum was short-lived as White House retook the lead in the top of the sixth on a squeeze, with White House starting the inning with a runner on second, as the tournament implemented international rules for extra innings.
Although White House grabbed the lead in the sixth, Forrest immediately tied the game in the first at-bat in the bottom of the inning.
Sarah King slugged a double to deep left to tie the game at three.
Ella Chilton then bumped King to third with a sac-bunt, setting the stage for a sac-fly from Hall for the game-winner.
Warren led Forrest, going 1-for-2 with a double and two RBIs.

GREEN HILL 9, FORREST 8
A nine-run fourth inning was more than the Lady Rockets could overcome in their lone loss of the weekend as Green Hill edged out a 9-8 win over Forrest.
The bats stayed hot for the Lady Rockets, who belted out 10 hits, half of which went for extra bases.
Maggie Daughrity and Abby Ferguson both slugged triples, while Haddie Van Patton, Sarah King and Daughrity all connected on doubles as well.
A nine-run fourth inning set the stage for a Lady Rocket rally in the bottom of the inning and although Forrest plated two runs and got the tying run at third, the Lady Rockets just couldn’t come up with the needed two-out hit to complete the comeback.
Daughrity led Forrest, going 3-for-3, while King also recorded a three-hit game as well.
