Lady Rocket offense can’t match pace with Cascade

CHAPEL HILL — The Forrest Lady Rockets hosted the Lady Champions of Cascade on Tuesday night in a district matchup, the Lady Rockets falling 58-29.
Cascade got a big jump on Forrest in the first, outscoring the Lady Rockets 15-4.
Both teams had their best quarter in the second, Forrest adding 14 to the board, 12 of those from behind the arc thanks to junior Kinslee Inlow.
But the Lady Champions had no mercy, putting up 20, six different players finding buckets.
At the half, Cascade held a comfortable 35-18 lead.
The second half proved to be a meager one for the Lady Rockets with only 11 points, Cascade sealing the 58-29 win.
Sophie Ray led all scorers with 17, while Kaegan Young and Suzanna Crews each chipped in 15. Inlow led Forrest with 12.
