Mrs. Kathy Bullock Haynes, 69, of Chapel Hill, Tenn., passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2023, in Nashville, Tenn. She was born in Nashville and was a daughter of the late John Edward “Nick” Bullock and Ruth Barnes Fuller Bullock. Mrs. Haynes was a homemaker and an active member of Cedar Grove Church. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a niece, Katie Bullock.
Kathy loved sewing and quilting. She had a passion for ancestry researching and serving others. Most of all, she loved her family and being with them and being involved with their activities.
Mrs. Haynes is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Jeff Haynes of Chapel Hill, TN; children, Meri (Chet) Haynes-Savage of Rogers, AR, Joy (Adam) Hall of Chapel Hill, TN, Jeremy (Jamie) Haynes of Chapel Hill, TN; five grandchildren, Emory Hall, Harper Hall, Landon Haynes, Ally Faye Haynes, Emily Haynes; mother, Ruth Bullock of Holt’s Corner Community; sisters, Jan (Duane) Floyd of Chapel Hill, TN, Laurie (Troy) Crowell of Cornersville, TN; brothers, John (Carolyn) Bullock of Castallian Springs, TN, Jerry (Karen) Bullock of Jacksonville, FL, Kenny (Debbie) Bullock of Murfreesboro, TN.
Visitation with the family took place Tuesday, February 20, 2024, from 4 until p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service was conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Freeman and Rev. Welland Andrus officiating. Interment followed in Cedar Grove Cemetery near Chapel Hill, TN. Family members served as pallbearers.
