Kathleen Smith Rutledge, 90, of Lewisburg, Tenn., died Saturday, Oct. 19, 2024, at NHC Oakwood.
She was born Sept. 19, 1934, in Lewisburg, Tennessee, to the late Jack and Nellie Roberts Smith. She retired from Inter-City Products and was a member of the Westvue Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents and step-mother, Georgia Smith, she was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Smith Rutledge in 1996; one daughter, Kay Rutledge Glascock; three sisters, Lorene Doggett, Mary Elizabeth Smith, and Martha Ruth Lanier.
She is survived by one granddaughter, Sarah (Cody) White of Cornersville; one great-grandson, Lawson White; one great-granddaughter, Molly Lynn White, a special nephew, Billy (Kathy) Lanier of Lewisburg; a son-in-law, Carl Glascock of Lewisburg; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family was held at Cornersville Funeral Home, 310 North Main St., Cornersville, Tenn., on Monday, Oct. 21, 2024, from 4 to 8:00 p.m. and continued on Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2024, until the funeral hour.
Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2024, at 1 p.m. from the chapel of Cornersville Funeral Home with burial following in Beechwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
