Judith A. (Judy) Campbell’s Oil Painting Exhibit
By Patty Blackburn
Judith A. (Judy) Campbell’s Oil Painting Exhibit is presently displayed in the West Gallery at the Marshall County Art Guild and will be available for viewing until the end of May.
This exhibit displays Campbell’s oil paintings of animals, landscapes, seascapes and still life, all of which she is passionate about. Campbell, a self-taught artist from Ardmore, Alabama, enjoyed making pencil and charcoal sketches at a very young age. After retirement in 2018, and during the pandemic, she became serious at painting with oil and could not put down her brushes.
For those who love art, especially oil paintings, be sure to go by the Marshall County Art Guild and see Campbell’s exhibit. Several of the paintings are for sale and commissions accepted. The location is 107 West Commerce Street, Lewisburg and the hours are Monday – Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. There is no cost to view the exhibit.
