Mrs. Josephine Potts, age 90, of Lewisburg, Tenn., died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2024. Born in Williamson Co., Tenn., Mrs. Potts was the daughter of the late LeRoy Crafton and Nellie Jane White Crafton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Prentice Potts; a daughter, Joy McCall and a son-in-law, Joe McCall. Mrs. Potts was a retired LPN having worked at multiple health care facilities in Marshall County. Her passion was caring for people. She was a member of the Hickory Heights Church of Christ.
Survivors include her children, Wanda Louise Potts of Lewisburg, Tenn., James Prentice (Karen) Potts of College Grove, Tenn., and Kenneth Lee (Dianne) Potts of Winchester, Tenn.; eight grandchildren, Gary McCall, Randy McCall, Joey Potts, Jessica Richardson, Stephanie Beddingfield, Chelsey Williams, Tina Corley and Josh Phillips; twelve great-grandchildren; several nieces.
Visitation was Friday, March 1, 2024, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service was at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 2, 2024, from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Joe Corley and Donnie Rader officiating. Burial followed at Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill.
Pallbearers were Jeff Haynes, Thomas Landers, Steven Landers, Clint Williams, Brian Richardson and Josh Phillips. Lawrence Funeral Home, 203 S. Horton Pkwy, Chapel Hill, TN in charge of arrangements.
