It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jefferson Collins Chapman, who left us on April 10, 2025, at the age of 77. Collins was born in Lewisburg, Tenn. on October 19, 1947, to Jeff and Annie Ruth Collins Chapman.

Collins was a proud member of the Catalpa Church of Christ. He was a hardworking individual with a quick wit who had a stubborn streak. He found joy in woodworking and had a knack for crafting beautiful pieces with his hands. He also loved playing guitar, often strumming tunes that brought smiles to those around him. A true conversationalist, Collins enjoyed talking to people and always had an entertaining story.

Collins is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Anna Elizabeth Allen Chapman; his sons, Joel Chapman (Brandi) and Andy Chapman (Debbie); daughter, Mandy Alexander (Travis); sister, Pat Elliott (Larry); grandchildren, Jake, Ethan, Miranda, Mason, Travis, Wyatt, Briar, Bryson and Michael; and great-grandchildren, Grace, Maddie, Jace, Easton, and Bailey Ann. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Janice Orr; and his grandson, Austin Chapman.

The Memorial Service for Collins Chapman took place Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home. Visitation was also Tuesday, April 15, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until time for the Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m.
