In His Image Pregnancy Resource Center’s Annual Benefit was held on Thursday Sept 14. The line was all the way to the parking lot. Rowdy Ranch Catering out of Shelbyville provided the dinner for close to 200 people.
An entire wall was lined with silent auction items to help continue the center’s work in the community.
Becky Wright was the keynote speaker and entertainer. Wright is an award-winning singer/songwriter. She also travels and speaks as an advocate for adoption.
All money raised helps the PRC provide the following: support and assistance during a crisis pregnancy, free and confidential pregnancy tests, help with pregnancy decisions, referrals for medical and social services, parenting classes, and baby items. All services are free and made possible through donations from businesses, individuals and churches.
In His Image Pregnancy Resource Center is located in The Shirley Lowe Building at 101 N. 3rd Ave. and is open Tue. 9 a.m. – noon and 5 p.m. – 8 p.m., Thu. 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. The Chapel Hill satellite location is in Grove Hill Church at 5216 Nashville Hwy. and is open Mon. 2 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
