Halloween in the Park

Once a year, thousands descend upon Cornersville from surrounding towns, for a good old fashioned Halloween. You will find families strolling the leaf strewn sidewalks, smiling at passerby, or stopping for a quick catch up with old friends. Kids squealing with glee over their favorite candy being handed out, or skipping hand in hand with friends. Porches are lit from both ends of town, to welcome one and all for a little trick or treat. The town park acts as the heart of the festivities and boasts games, concessions, costume contests, and hayrides (haunted after dark!). Halloween in the Park takes place on the Saturday before Halloween each year. It’s that little piece of nostalgia your inner child has been begging for.

This fun filled night will be Saturday, Oct. 28, 5 to 8 p.m.  All children under 13 should be accompanied by an adult. Main Street will not be closed – use crosswalks to cross safely. Streets will be closed on Mulberry, Kennedy, Maplewood, Elm and the alleys connected.
