Free coaching program now available to public school families
ENGAGE TN is a new program designed to help your child be their best this school year
Nashville, TN: Public school families now have the opportunity to work with a personal Academic Success Coach for free this school year as part of the ENGAGE TN program. This initiative is funded by the Tennessee General Assembly and provided by a partnership between the Tennessee Department of Education and Graduation Alliance.
“Over the past three years, we have been partnering with school districts around the country to help more than 151,000 participating students be their best in and out of school through our ENGAGE Attendance Recovery Program,” Graduation Alliance CEO Ronald Klausner said. “We are excited to now provide personalized support to students in Tennessee.”
Every student is offered the opportunity to work with a personal mentor who can help with:
- Academic and community resources
- Referrals to organizations that can help with housing and transportation insecurity and childcare
- Homework help
- Motivation and confidence building
- Study, time-management, and test-taking tips
- Feedback on résumés and cover letters
“Every student faces a unique set of challenges. Our team is ready to help your family gain the knowledge, skills, and support you need to thrive this school year and beyond,” Klausner said.
Marshall County School System will be distributing additional information to students. Parents may also speak to their student’s guidance counselor or visit GraduationAlliance.com for more information. ENGAGE TN will continue through September 2024.
