All of the first place winners in the Elk’s District Hoop Shoot participated in the Elk’s State Hoop Shoot, in Franklin, on February 3.
The Lewisburg Elks Lodge #1990 had two shooters that came in 2nd place, winning over several thousand shooters.
Connor Meeks came in 2nd in the 8 and 9 year old state shooting competition and Henry Hearnsberger came in 2nd place in the 10 and 11 year old state shooting completion. Both did a super job to place 2nd over all of the Tennessee shooters.
The next Elk’s Hoop Shoot will be the first Saturday in November at the Lewisburg Recreation Center at 9:00 a.m. For more info, contact Kenneth Walker at 931-580-2616.
