Mrs. Edna Pearl Howard Roberts, 88, of the Farmington Community of Marshall Co., died Thursday, Dec. 7, 2023. Born in Williamson Co., Mrs. Roberts was the daughter of the late Robert Howard and Pauline Cole Howard. Edna Pearl was the widow of Claud Vestal Roberts who died in 2010. She worked for many years as a cook and cashier in several restaurants including being the “Biscuit Lady” at a Hardees Restaurant. She was a long time member of Farmington Baptist Church where she loved and was loved by so many people. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Lee Harrison and a step-daughter, Judy Walker.
Survived by three daughters, Marilyn Holt of Laws Hill, Polly (Chris) McQueen of Morgantown, Ind. and Mary Lou (Greg) Rich Creek of Laws Hill; two step-sons, Jerry (Debbie) Roberts of Lewisburg, Tenn. and Eddie (Sandra) Roberts of Cornersville, Tenn.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation with the family was Monday, Dec. 11, 2023 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service followed visitation at 12 p.m. Burial followed at Hopper Cemetery. Lawrence Funeral Home, 203 S. Horton Pkwy, Chapel Hill, TN in charge of arrangements.
