Mr. Dan Perryman, 81, of Chapel Hill, Tenn., passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2024, in Nashville, Tenn. He was born in Chapel Hill, Tenn. and was a son of the late A. S. ”Ab” Perryman and Nimo Jane Patterson Perryman. Mr. Dan attended Community Ministry Church in Chapel Hill and was a retired truck driver, having owned and operated Boxer Trucking. He was a graduate of the Class of 1961 at Forrest High School. In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Perryman.
Dan loved classic cars and fishing. He enjoyed watching western movies. He loved his Boxer dogs and raised several of them. Most of all, he loved his family and spending time with them!
Mr. Perryman is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Donna Perryman of Chapel Hill, Tenn.; sons, Tal (Kim) Perryman and Mike (Michelle) Perryman all of Chapel Hill, Tenn.; four grandchildren, Jennifer Perryman, Dustin (Brittany) Perryman, Connor Perryman, Cameron Perryman; three great-grandchildren, Kailey Carothers, Parker Perryman, and Harper Ann Hall.
Graveside services were conducted on Monday, May 13, 2024, at 11 a.m. at in Chapel Hill, Tenn. with Sister Melissa Broyles officiating. Visitation followed the service at the cemetery and interment followed the service.
Family and friends served as pallbearers.
