Main Street Christmas Festival
Cornersville’s 3rd Annual Main Street Christmas Festival was Saturday, December 2. Even though the day was wet and dreary, several attended and had a great time. The children loved the snow and Santa. Disney characters could be seen throughout the park as well as that green man, the Grinch, along with Buddy the Elf. There was craft and food vendors, face painting, cookie decorating, reindeer games, fun rides on the Polar Express, and carriage rides.
The Town of Cornersville’s Citizen of the Year was introduced prior to the tree lighting at the conclusion of the 3rd Annual Main Street Christmas Festival. The tree, donated by Nathan and Sharon Pennington, displayed its beauty as Mary Ann Peters, the 2023 Citizen of the Year, plugged in the lights.
