The Cornersville High School Cheerleaders did well this year during the Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) cheer camp at the Great Wolf Lodge in LaGrange, Ga.
The CHS cheerleaders were named Camp Champs for winning first place in the dance competition and sideline cheer competiton.
They also won the gold ribbon in both of their evaluation rounds before competition day.
Senior Leavie Solomon was recognized for having a great attitude and for being kind and encouraging. She received the ‘Pin it Forward’ award where she was able to choose another cheerleader from a different squad that demonstrated the same characteristics.
