Bryan Wright Sands

Bryan Wright Sands, 82, of Pulaski, Tennessee, died Saturday, January 25, 2025, at NHC Pulaski.

He was born September 3, 1942, in Pulaski, Tennessee, to the late Nathan and Shirley Lovell Sands. He was a retired Machine Operator at Heil Quaker and later a substitute teacher. He was a member of the Lynnville Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife in 2022, JoAnn Sands, one brother, Winford Sands, and a brother-in-law, Hayden Center.

He is survived by one daughter, April Rose and two sons, Ritchie (Kaye) Sands and Keith Sands, all of Pulaski; a sister, Joyce Center of Pelham, Alabama; step-son, Joseph McCandless; a sister- in-law, Francis Sands of Niceville, Florida; brother-in-law, Kenneth Walker of Lewisburg; special nephews; eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Visitation with the family was held at the chapel of London Funeral Home, 324 West Church Street, Lewisburg, Tennessee, on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, from 4 until 7 p.m. and continued on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, until the funeral hour.

The funeral service was conducted on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at 11 a.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home and burial followed in Lynnwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

The family wishes to express a special thanks to all of those that cared for Bryan at NHC Pulaski.
