With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Brandy Nicole Richardson Graham, who left us far too soon on April 16, 2025. Born on August 16, 1983, Brandy truly embodied the phrase “salt of the earth” and filled our lives with her radiant light. A devoted Christian, she loved God with an unwavering spirit and showed her faith through her kindness and compassion for others.
Brandy was a strong-willed fighter, independent and determined, yet always the life of the party. Brandy was a beautician and had developed a loyal clientele. She set the bar academically as she completed her courses in record time with the highest scores that had been achieved up to that point. She had a unique ability to lift others up, often being the shoulder to lean on. Her kindness knew no bounds, as she took care of those around her and brought sunshine into their lives. Her love for her daughter was boundless; she cherished every moment with her family and friends.
Brandy is survived by her husband, Scott Graham; daughter, who she loved to the moon and back, Madison Maddi Paige Hobbs; father, Timothy Richardson (Denise); mother, Mary Ann Gaskill (Todd); brothers, Oakey Gaskill (Jennifer), Cody Gaskill (Tayler), Taylor Richardson (Ashley), Trent Richardson; stepson, Ranger Graham; stepdaughter, Samantha Graham; grandfather, Bill “PawPaw” Nance, step-grandson, Sterling Raymer, special cousins, Dena Henson and Starr Crutcher; numerous, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by, grandfather, Oscar Henson; grandmothers, Dorothy Nance and Sharon Sharp; grandparents, Roger “Po” and Sue “Gran” Gaskill; and cousin, Jeremy Wayne Richardson.
Funeral services in honor of Brandy were held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. where friends and family will come together to celebrate her vibrant life and legacy. Visitation was Monday, April 21, 2025, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. and continued Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until the funeral hour of 2:00 p.m. All who knew and loved Brandy were invited to share stories and reminisce about the incredible person she was.
In lieu of flowers, a Memorial Scholarship Fund for the Hair Academy is being established, donations may be given to Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home.
