Barry Joe Pope, 62, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, died Friday, April 19, 2024, at St. Thomas West in Nashville.
He was born September 8, 1961, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late Billy Pope and Edith Tucker Pope. He was employed by MINTH Manufacturing in Lewisburg and a member of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Joe Pope, in 2019.
He is survived by his mother, Edith Tucker Pope; one son, Jeremy (Haleigh) Pope of Cookeville; one daughter, Meagan Pope of Lewisburg; granddaughter, Claire Pope and grandson, Barrett Pope; two sisters, Trina (Douglas) Heffington of Lewisburg and Tonga (Frankie) Dalton of Cornersville; several nephews and nieces; former spouse, Pamela Pope of Belfast; and faithful companion, Eva.
Visitation with the family was held at London Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
The funeral service was conducted Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at 1 p.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home, 324 W. Church Street, Lewisburg, Tennessee, with burial following in Lone Oak Cemetery.
