Mrs. Annie Esther Mason, 89, passed away December 28, 2024, at Oakwood NHC. She was the daughter of the late Willie Freeman and Ann Williams Freeman of Belfast.
Mrs. Mason, a former teacher in Marshall County, taught math, science, and social studies at Connelly, Jones, and Lewisburg Middle School. She was a member of Greater First Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Ms. Stephanie White of Lewisburg and Mrs. DeShawn (Dee Dee) Ewing and husband, Walter of Belfast; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; numerous family and friends.
Visitation was held Friday, January 3, 2025, from noon until 6 p.m. at the chapel of Anderson Funeral Home and again Saturday January 4, 2025, one hour prior to the service at 1 p.m. at Greater First Baptist Church, 512 6th Avenue North. Interment took place at Cedar Grove in Belfast.
Anderson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
