After Thanksgiving Day Hike 2023

Henry Horton State Park is the perfect place to burn off that Thanksgiving meal! Take a hike along the Wetland Trail and discover the natural beauty of the Duck River watershed. Participants will hear a brief history of the park and have the opportunity to enjoy great nature.

Meet at the Ronnie Bowers Wetland Parking Area (about 1-mile past the campground on River Road).

This family friendly, 3-mile hike on the Wetland trail and Outer River Trail is the perfect trail for your friends, family, and pets to attend.

Be sure to:

Wear weather appropriate attire for the elements

Have on sturdy boots or shoes

Leash any pets that may be attending

Bring water or any trekking poles as needed
