John Reese, Marshall County EMS
Serving Marshall County since 2006, Director John Reese has a passion for his home county, his neighbors, and serving his employees. Under John’s direction, Marshall County EMS emphasizes compassionate, professional pre-hospital care for the community. The EMS department aims to deliver “the highest level of pre-hospital emergency medical care to the citizens and visitors of Marshall County.” John’s commitment and perseverance through difficult times have led to several upgrades for the department, including new 24/72 shift schedules, increased educational opportunities, and improved patient care throughout Marshall County. John’s tireless commitment to his service and community exemplify what it means to be a leader, and the South-Central EMS Directors Association proudly congratulates John on winning the Excellence in Leadership Award 2025.
Two employees from Marshall County EMS received recognition for their service. Adler Puckett received recognition as an EMT award nominee and Jessica Lockard as a paramedic award nominee.
